The healing Power of Koran: Between Science and Faith

Introduction:

There are many cases cured every day by reciting the Koran; we cannot deny that because recovery does happen; it happened to me when I was reciting specific verses for a specific illness and the illness was cured!

Koran Healing is a critical issue which wasn’t given enough study or research, so I thought about starting this journey and asked Allah to guide me, give me the useful knowledge, show me the right and help me do it, and show me the wrong and help me avoid it. One of the most important fruits of this research, which continued for years, was that I came out with an important result: Allah had put in every verse of the Koran a healing power for a certain disease if this verse was recited for a specific number of times.

In the beginning

When we contemplate on the universe around us, we notice that every single atom is vibrating in a specific frequency, whether this atom is part of metal, water, cell, or anything else. So every thing in this universe is vibrating, this is a given scientific fact. .

The basic structure of the universe is the atom, and the basic structure of our bodies is the cell; each cell is made of billions of atoms and each atom is made of a positive nucleus and negative electrons rotating around it; because of this rotation, an electromagnetic field is generated similar to fields generated by an engine.



The atom is the basic structure in the universe and in our bodies; it is constantly vibrating which means that every thing is vibrating according to a precise system. Cells vibrate in a precise system, and any vibration around us affects our cells.


The secret that makes our brain think is an accurate program inside the brain cells; this program is inside every cell doing its task precisely; the smallest defect in its job would cause imbalance and disorder of some of the body parts; the best cure for this imbalance is to restore balance to the body. Scientists discovered that body cells are affected by various vibrations such as light waves, radio waves, sound waves etc. But what is sound?


Each cell in our body vibrates in a precise system, and the smallest change in this vibration would mean an illness of some part of the body. That's why these damaged cells should be vibrated to restore balance to them.


We know that the sound is made of waves or vibrations moving in the air in about 340m/sec. Each sound has its own frequency, and human can hear from 20 frequencies per second to 20000 frequencies per second (1). These waves spread in the air and then get received by the ear, then turn into electrical signals and move along the acoustic nerve towards the acoustic bark in the brain; the cells correspond to the waves and move into the various parts of the brain especially the frontal part; all these parts work together corresponding to the signals and translating them to a language the human understands. Thus, the brain analyses the signals and gives its orders to the various body parts to correspond to these signals.


The sound is made of mechanic vibrations that reach the ear then the brain cells which correspond to these vibrations and change their own vibration; that's why the sound is considered an effective healing power depending on the nature of the sound and its frequencies. We find the healing power in the Koran because it is the book of Allah.


From here came sound therapy; the sound is a vibration, and body cells are vibrating, then the sound influences these cells. This is what researchers discovered recently; in Washington University late in the twentieth century, scientists found that the job of a brain cell is not just to transfer information, each cell is a small computer working on collecting information, processing it, and giving orders continuously round the clock. Ellen Covey, a researcher in Washington University, says that it is the first time that we realize that the brain does not work as a big computer, but it contains a huge number of computers working in a cooperative way, there is a small computer in each cell, and these computers are affected by the vibrations around them, especially the sound (2).


Experiments show that inside each cell in the brain there is a tiny computer which Allah deposited an accurate program that directs the cell and controls its work. They also show that the sound affects the cell; this is a picture of a cell getting affected by a sound and an electromagnetic field is being formed around it.


Thus, we can say that the cells of each body part vibrate in a specific frequency, and form a complicated and coordinated system that is affected by any sound around it. So, any disease affecting any part of the body will cause a change in the vibration of this part's cells and thus causing it to deviate from the general body system affecting the whole body. This is why, when the body is exposed to a specific sound, this sound influences the vibration system of body and especially the irregular part; this part would respond to specific sounds to restore its original vibration system or, in other words, to restore its healthy condition. Scientists discovered these results recently.

What is the story of this science (the sound therapy)?

Sound therapy story:

Alfred Tomatis, a French doctor, made experiments for fifty years about the human senses and came out with the result that the hearing sense is the most important sense!! He found that the ear controls the whole body, regulates its vital operations and the balance and coordination of its movements; he also found that the ear controls the nervous system!

During his experiments, he found that the hearing nerves connect with all body muscles and this is the reason why the balance and flexibility of the body and the sight sense get affected by sounds. The inner ear is connected with all the body parts such as the heart, lungs, liver, stomach, and the intestines; this explains why sound frequencies affect the whole body (3).

In 1960, the Swiss scientist Hans Jenny found that the sound affects the various materials and reform their particulars, and that each cell of the body has its own sound and gets affected by the sounds and rearranges the material inside it (4). In 1974, the researchers Fabien Maman and Sternheimer made an astonishing discovery; they found that each part of the body has its own vibration system, subject to physics laws. A few years later, Fabien and Grimal, another researcher, discovered that sound affects cells especially cancer cells, and that certain sounds had stronger effect; the strange thing the two researchers found was that the sound that had the strongest effect on body cells is the sound of the human himself!!


The sound moves from the ear to the brain and affects the brain cells; scientists recently found that the sound has a strange healing power and an amazing effect of the brain cells which work on restoring the balance to the whole body! Reciting Koran has an astonishing effect on these cells and is capable of restoring their balance; the brain is the organ that controls the body and from it the orders comes to the rest of the body organs especially the immune system.


Fabian, a scientist and musician, put blood cells from a healthy body and exposed them to various sounds; he found that each note of the musical scale affects the electromagnetic field of the cell; when photographing this cell with Kirlian camera, he found out that the shape and value of the electromagnetic field of the cell change according to the sound frequencies and the sound type of the reader. Then he made another experiment taking a blood drop from one of the patients, and then he monitored the drop with Kirlian camera and asked the patient to make various notes. He found, after processing the pictures, that on a specific note the blood drop changes its electromagnetic field and fully vibrates responding to its owner. He thus concluded that there are specific notes that affect the body cells and make them more vital and active, even regenerates them. He came out with an important result: The human sound has a powerful and unique influence over body cells; this influence is not found in any other instrument. This researcher said literally:

"The human sound has a special spiritual ring making it the most powerful healing device (5). Fabien found that some sounds easily explode the cancerous cell, and at the same time activate the healthy cell. The sound affects human blood cells which transfer the frequencies of this sound to the whole body through the blood circulation".


A cancerous cell exploded by using sound frequencies only!! That's why reciting the Koran has a great impact on treating the most danger cancers and incurable diseases!


But is this influence limited only to cells? It became clear that sound affects everything around us. This is what Masaru Emoto, a Japanese scientist, proved in his experiments on water; he found that the electromagnetic field of water molecules is highly affected by the sound, and that there are specific tones that affect these molecules and make them more regular. If we remember that the human body is 70% water, then the sound the human hears affects the regularity of water molecules in the cells and the way these molecules vibrate, thus affects his healing (6). Different researchers confirm that the human sound could heal many diseases including cancer (7). Sound therapists also confirm that there are certain sounds that are more effective and have a healing power especially in increasing the immune system efficiency (8).


Water molecules shape changes when exposed to sound; thus, sound greatly affects the water we drink. If you recite the Koran on water, its characteristics would change and it would carry the Koran effect to every cell in the body causing them to heal !In the picture, we see a frozen water molecule; the electromagnetic field around this molecule changes continuously because of the sound effect.


How Koran heals?

Now, let's ask the important question: what happen inside body cells and how does sound cure? How does this sound affect the damaged cells and restore their balance? In other words, what is the mechanism of healing?

Doctors are constantly looking for means to destroy some virus; if we think about the mechanism of this virus, what moves it and makes it recognize its way to the cell? Who gave the virus the information stored within which enables it to attack the cells and multiply inside? What moves the cells against this virus to destroy it while stand helpless in front of another virus?


Viruses and germs also vibrate and are highly affected by sound vibrations especially the Koran sound; it stops them and at the same time increases the activity of the healthy cells and revives the disrupted program inside so to become ready to fight viruses and germs.


The Koran recitation is made of a group of frequencies that reach the ear then move to the brain cells and affect them through the electronic fields these frequencies generate in these cells; the cells would respond to these fields and modify their vibrations, this change in the vibration is what we fell and understand after experience and repetition.

It is the natural system that Allah gave to the brain cells, it is the natural balance system; this is what Allah told us in the holy Koran: (Allah's handiwork according to the pattern on which he has made mankind: No change let there be in the work (wrought) by Allah: that is the straight religion, but most of men know not) (Al-Rum, 30).


A real picture of a blood cell that was exposed to the sound and started changing the electromagnetic field around it; the sound of the Koran changes the information this cell carries and makes it more capable of fighting viruses and the defect Resulting from malignant diseases.


What are the healing verses?

Dear reader, each verse of the Koran has an amazing healing power for a specific disease; what is confirmed is that the Prophet, Allah's peace and blessing be upon him, focused on specific chapters and verses, such as reading Al-Fatiha seven times, Al-Kursi verse (verse number 255 in Al-Bakara chapter), the last two verses of Al-Bakara Chapter, and the last three chapters of the Koran.

But the whole Koran heals; you can, dear brother, read the verses that you hope to cure your illness. For example, if you feel upset, focus your reading on Al-Sharh chapter (Have We not opened your breast for you); if you have a sever headache, read: (Had We sent down this Koran on a mountain, you would surely have seen it humbling itself and rending asunder by the fear of Allah. Such are the parables which We put forward to mankind that they may reflect) (Al-Hashr, 21); if you are suffering from pimples, warts, or skin problems then read: (then it is struck with a fiery whirlwind, so that it is burnt) (Al-Baqarah, 266).

If you are afraid, keep repeating Korish chapter, especially the verse: (and has made them safe from fear) (Korish, 4). A strong cure of depression is the repetition of these verses from the Holy Koran: (O mankind! There has come to you a good advice from your Lord (the Koran) and a healing for the diseases in your breasts, a guidance and a mercy for the believers* Say: "In the Bounty of Allah, and in His Mercy (i.e. Islam and the Koran); therein let them rejoice." That is better than what (the wealth) they amass) (Yunus, 57-58).

The greatest prophet peace be upon him used to say hundreds of supplications every day, do you think he was doing it in vain? He was asking Allah to protect him from evil, including diseases. You can say the supplication that protect you from diseases every day: (I seek refuge in Allah's perfect words that are obeyed by the faithful and the immoral from all that He created, made in earth and originated from it, from all that come from heaven and ascend into it, from the seductions of the day and the night, and from the night and day visitors except those who bring good, O you most Gracious). Don’t you agree with me that this great prophetic supplication is the best protector from any disease?

Thus, dear brothers and sisters, you can find in the Koran and Sunnah a cure for any disease whether psychological or physical; it is preferred to read the verses in a loud voice so to make your body cells get affected by the sound of the Koran, and to focus on the sick part and imagine that Allah has cured it; repeat these verses and start each time with Al-Fatiha and finish with Al-Falaq and Al-Nas. You can also ask for the verses that are relevant for your disease.

O Allah, make the Koran our cure for every disease.

Deriding the word of God and his Messenger, became an ordinary matter these days!

Most of these misconception came from abroad, the Unbelievers claim that Islam is the religion backwardness , terrorism and unenlightenment. Enemies of Islam persisted on mocking Islamic teachings alleging that they are old and can't fit the modern era !.

Now if anyone browses the internet sites attentively, can easily find plenty of comments and drawings that express unbelievers' spite and bitter feeling against Islam.

You may see them spread it out under name of " freedom of opinion".. …..that unrestraint license freedom!. Among them, a cartoonist in Denmark(1) who made cartoons mocking prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him ).

Praise to Allah ! how dare they, mocking Muhammad SAAS, the greatest creature of Allah?. But, as seen, they do not have any logic sense or even scientific proof they can criticize Islam with. They avoided scientific rules ( learned by Moslems in middle centuries) this time!

So they rushed with that miserable manner, because they failed to find any linguistic fault or scientific mistake regarding the holly Quran, along with Hadith of the greatest messenger that they can convince their followers with. They found nothing but these drawings that disclose their insolvency.

We have the right to express our opinion about such things, but we do respect Moses and Jesus, peace be upon them, understanding that they do not bear any of their followers acts, for that we do not divide between these generous prophets, understanding that all messengers are sent by Allah.

But let's first read what Allah says about these mockers , God says in the Holy Quran what means "

(Lo! those who malign Allah and his messenger, Allah hath cursed them in the world and the Hereafter, and hath prepared for them the doom of the disdained* and those who malign believing men and believing women undeservedly, they bear the guilt of slander and manifest sin.) {Al-Ahzab: 57-58 }.

These drawings are bad deeds to Allah , mockery of his messenger causes harm for every believing man and woman. So, we warn them of a painful punishment if they do not desist.

Our way of expressing will be stronger than their way and abide for long run, because these drawings show only delusions and illusion that nowhere else to be find but in their minds . We'll speak to them on scientific basics that they failed to use!. We'll tell them the reality of that merciful prophet SAAS.

I'll not speak about the high morals and the wonderful characteristics he had , Because such mockers characters are void of these characteristics and as a result they are not apt to appreciate them .

Our speech will be scientific and based on material facts announced by that noble prophet. These facts are represented in the Quran, fourteen centuries ago and they are still valid and even will extend in the future as the most solid facts .

In fact, they are belong to countries which believe in justice, human rights and have modern technology as well . I dare to say to those who are proud of science and justice that the Holy Quran which you mockery with, is the first book claim for science and justice!!.

And those are main support for success and prosperity of any civilization.

The first word to come down to Mohammad was( Iqra') which means: read, and this is a proof that Islam is a religion of science .

The last word of Quran that came down is: ( and they shall not be dealt with unjustly.), and this is a proof that Islam is a religion of justice.

You claim that you are the first who call to search for universe history and you are proud of that. But we ask you to read this verse in Qur'an ,which is a straight and direct calling for thinking about the beginning of creation.: ( Say: Travel in the earth and see how He makes the first creation, then Allah creates the latter creation; surely Allah has power over all things. ) Al-'Ankaboot (20)

This is evidence that Qur'an is mainly concerned with looking ,thinking ,searching and studying.

Our prophet SAAS, launched a new scientific rule for astronomy and cosmic phenomena. When people of Macca thought that the Sun had eclipsed for his son's death ( Ibraheem), Prophet Mohammad SAAS refused that meaning saying:( The sun and the moon are two signs(creation miracle) among many others from Allah , and they did not eclipse for any one's death or birth.) [Al-Bokhari & Moslem encyclopedia ].

, our Prophet SAAS claimed these wise words in the time you were believing that solar eclipse is a sign of the birth of a great man , the death of a great man , the end of a tyrant or loosing a battle.

In the same time , Europe was plagued with a plenty of magicians, astrologers and jugglers who accustomed to be believed by people, even by kings......

Our prophet SAAS denied and forbade these deeds saying: ( who ever came to a juggler or diviner and believe what he is saying , he will be unbeliever concerning what been given to Mohammad.)

In the same time , you were thinking that the earth is firm and do not move.......

Qur'an placed a scientific fact confirming that everything in this universe is swimming according to a specific orbit .

This fact you discovered after that ,lately!

Allah say about the Sun and the Moon: [ They swim(float) each in an orbit]..( Ya-Seen 40)

In the time when Europe believed in a god for wind, a god for rain and a god for thunder........

Qur'an made scientific basics for all these phenomena , which you have discovered only few years ago.

If you want to know facts about winds, then read what Allah says: ( And We send the winds fertilizing, then send down water from the cloud so We give it to you to drink of, nor is it you who store it up. )(Al-Hijr 22)

Don't you discover recently with your modern instruments and equipments the act of the wind to fertilize clouds and rain falling by return?

If you want to know the technique of thunder, which remained unknown to you for a long time ,only was discovered few years ago....

You may read our prophet Hadith: ( Don't you wonder about the thunder how it goes and returns in a twinkle of an eye ?).(Moslem collection of Hadith ) . your digital cameras shoot photos for thunder go to and fro exactly as described by the prophet's words ?

Our prophet SAAS was the first man in the history to call for medical research through many Hadith laying the basics of modern medicine principals.

Our prophet SAAS said:( Allah place not a disease but He places a cure for it ) ( Bokhari Encyclopedia

That great Hdith assures that there is a cure for different kinds of diseases. That means that if human searches for the cure he will find it.

Don't your scientists apply this Hadith ,so they do research to find cure for different diseases which in the past they stand hopeless against.?

Islam is the first to talk about cosmic weave, Allah say: ( I swear by the heaven having weaves) (Al-Zariyat 7)

don't you see , through your super computers , that cosmic perfected weave?

You are so proud today considering yourselves the first to discover the beginning of universe,you assure that the universe was a single mass then scattered due to a big bang.

You forget that our prophet SAAS preceded you since 14 centuries when Allah say:( Do not those who disbelieve see that the heavens and the earth were closed up, then We have parted them; ).. ( Al-Anbiya' 30)

If we wish , we can identify hundreds ,even thousands of modern recently discovered scientific facts, they all exist in Qur'an and Hadith of the master of the prophets (SAAS.)

Shall you read some of it before you delineate our prophet characteristics , That prophet ,who Allah described him as His mercy given to the whole universe.

Hereby, we ask that who can't hear not to criticize beautiful sounds.., and that who can't see not to attack wonderful scenes.., also that who catch cold, not to make objection for perfumed smell.

Whatever the suspicions they try to attach to his character , whatever the false calumniation they utter , The character of our prophet Muhammad SAAS will stay shining , beautiful and splendid .Our prophet SAAS sayings will remain the most reasonable and scientific .

Also a guidance light of Allah and Qur'an will stay brilliant whatever the unbelievers try to get it off with their fallacies .

Allah say: ( He is who hath sent his messenger with the guidance and the Religion of Truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religion, however much the idolaters may be averse.) (At-Taubah 33)

( Lo! those who malgin Allah and His messenger, Allah hath cursed them in the world and the Hereafter, and hath prepared for them the doom of the disdained.) (Al-Ahzab 57).

We say as Allah Say: ( Say: Scoff ( your fill)! Lo! Allah is disclosing what ye fear.) ( Al-Taubah 64)

Is there Cure for Senescence

Scientists recently discovered a gene on the DNA tape inside the body cells; this gene was called Telomere, it is a tape that has a defined length and controls the death and senescence of cells. The task of this Telomere is to maintain the DNA after each time it splits to produce new cells.

But this Telomere gets shorter after each cell division until it reaches a critical limit when it can't do its tasks anymore; here, the cell gets old and dies. Scientists tried to lengthen the biological age of this gene; they discovered an enzyme called Telomerase that can maintain the senescence gene and keep cells in a healthy condition for a longer period. But how to put this new element inside each cell while the body has trillions of cells??

A new problem faced the scientists; it is the cell, when exceeding a certain age without dying, starts to multiply quickly causing cancer which leads to the same result: death!! The problem in this case is even bigger; that's why most scientists see that senescence is the best way to end a human's life normally, and any attempt to lengthen the age beyond certain limits would have many effects, the least of which is cancer, may Allah protect you and us from it.



We see an illustration of the DNA tape. This tape contains all the information about our lives and even our death. In this tape, we have the senescence gene which is responsible for maintaining this DNA tape, it has a specific length and gets shorter and shorter each time the cell goes division until it reaches a specific length and then the cell dies.




And here is the evidence on Allah's Almighty saying: (We have decreed death to you all), death is destined, programmed, and organized. This is what the Holy Koran told us in the seventh century, and this is what scientists find today in the twenty-first century, so glory to Allah!

Professor Lee Silver, From the American University Princeton, Says: "any attempt to gain eternity is against nature; death harmonizes completely with development. We give our genes to the next generations and if we don't die, then we will fight with our kids over life which is not a good thing for the development progress".

At this point, scientists concluded that there is no cure for senescence in the current time, but they will continue their researches and spend billions trying to find one and lengthen the human age but in vain. I wish that these scientists had read the Hadith from the beginning and saved their money and efforts researching!

The greatest prophet peace be upon him said: (take medicine servants of Allah, for Allah has not created a disease without creating its cure, except one disease - is senescence) on the authority of Ahmad. We ask Allah Almighty to make the Koran and cure of every disease, truly He is near and hearing.

The Pure water, the Fresh water and the Saline water

In this article we will see that the Quran tackles the different types of waters and categorizes them according to there degree of purity. The Qur'an identifies the "distilled" water which is rainwater as the pure water, names the "fresh" water that we drink from rivers and wells the "sweet" water and names the sea water that holds a high percentage of saltiness as "bitter" water. It has been established scientifically the distinction between these kinds, and this what we will cover thoroughly in the coming sections. It's worthy to note the single drop of water contains five thousand million of water molecules!!! How many do the world seas include!!?

The Qur'an speaks about Distilled Water

Allah, all grandeur to Him says in His Glorious verses:

(And it is He who sends the winds as good tidings before His mercy, and We send down from the sky pure water)The Criterion, 48.

I have contemplated on this verse for a long while and discovered that it tackles precisely the specifications that scientists label now days as "Distilled Water". They have revealed that the water we drink contains many substances and organisms. The single cup of drinking water we think is pure, carries millions of minute organisms like bacteria and viruses, and contains mineral substances like iron, copper, aluminum, sodium, magnesium and calcium. In addition it also contains organic substances like carbon, dust and other substances, all included in what we call as "pure" water.

Scientists have discovered that this water can be purified by heating it until the boiling point of 100 degrees Centigrade, then accumulating vapor, condensing it and then cooling it. As a result, you get distilled water that is pure to a great extent .Scientists say that the best kind of distilled water is rain water right before it descends to the ground and mixes with polluted particles in the air.

The civilization of this age has generated many of the pollution; the falling of rainwater cleans the atmosphere because the rainwater that is distilled is distinguished by its characteristic for the absorption of substances. It absorbs from the atmosphere, sulfur and other substances and minerals such as poisonous lead subsequently the rainwater's essence is acidic .On the contrary, the past rainwater was pure because the atmosphere was not polluted.

When the rain water descends to the group it filtrates through the soil and between the rocks and follows very complicated paths, and during this journey it mixes with some minerals and the salts found in the rocks. Consequently the rainwater to some extent takes an alkaline flavor. Due to this fact, we find the distilled water is unpalatable because of there is no flavor to it, where as, the taste of spring water is palatable

Characteristics of the Rain water

Now lets reckon some of the characteristics associated with the water descending from the sky i.e.: rainwater .The rainwater is considered exactly as distilled water, resulting from the vaporization of the water from the seas and its condensation in the form of clouds then it descending as rain . Therefore it is thoroughly pure water. The rainwater can remove the dirt on the human skin more than the regular water, thus this water is considered a disinfectant used in medicine .It is free from the viruses and bacteria, also possessing the feature of the absorption of metals, gases and dust particles and any substance that comes into contact with it on a large scale, therefore it is an antiseptic to the atmosphere as well.

After knowing these attributes we find that they meet accurately the single worded expression in the Qur'an about the rainwater, where Allah says:

(And We send down from the sky pure water) The criterion, 48.

The word "Tahara" (purified) in the language means the removal of dirt and impurities and the abstinence from it as stated in the dictionary.

The Fresh (Sweet) Water

There a new attribute associated with this water explained by the scientists and that it is capable of renewing the cells in the body on a larger scale rather than the common water. As for the energy scientists, they confirm that the rainwater possesses bigger quantities of energy, thus positively reflecting on the psychological state of the human.



Figure (2): Allah (swt) has mentioned the name of the river water and that stored under the ground that we drink as "sweet" water i.e.: water with acceptable taste. While He named the sea water by "salty" water for the indication of its surplus of saltiness. He also named the rainwater as "pure" water and hence the Qur'an is the first book that provides accurate scientific classification.

It is not strange that we find the Qur'an mentioning these characteristics clearly in the following verse:

(]Remember] when He overwhelmed you with drowsiness [giving] security from Him and sent down upon you from the sky, rain by which to purify you and remove from you the evil [suggestions] of Satan and to make steadfast your hearts and plant firmly thereby your feet. ) Al-Anfal, 11.

This verse specifically talks about rain water through the verse: (sent down upon you from the sky rain) and we previously embarked upon the cleansing feature in this water as Allah says: (Which to purify you).

We also spoke about the presence of energy it possesses thus affecting the human in giving him the push and power for confirmation, needed when facing the enemy. By this we are talking about the positive energy when facing intricate situations (1) and this is indicated in the following verse: (and plant firmly thereby your feet).

It is noticable that the Quran differentiates between the word "Tahur"/pure and "Furat"/sweet in its verses for Allah says: (and have given you to drink sweet water.) Al-Mursalat, 27. The water we drink from the rivers, springs and wells is acceptable and taste sweet because it contains quantity of the minerals like iron that causing the water to taste sweet. This definition suits the expression "Furatan"/sweet. The term "Furat"/sweet water in the language is the water with acceptable taste as described in the linguistic dictionaries .While the descending water from the sky is distilled water which possesses the characteristics of sterilization and cleansing and carries not taste! Therefore the Divine described it as "Tahura". So is there repetition in the Quran or is it a miracle?

The water as it descends from the sky is pure but when it mixes with the minerals and salts present in the land and become "Furatan"/sweet. Even though, the Qur'an speaks about the river waters, we find it using the term "Furatan"/sweet and not "Tahuran"/pure.

This is again due to the fact that the water of the sweet river contains many of the solved metals (minerals) in it, Exalted Allah says: (And not alike are the two bodies of water. One is fresh and sweet, palatable for drinking, and one is salty and bitter.) Fater,12.

The Bitter Water

The following verse made me contemplate: (And not alike are the two bodies of water. One is fresh and sweet, palatable for drinking, and one is salty and bitter.) Fater, 12. I wondered why Allah it associated each kind with two attributes, "Fresh and Sweet"-"Salty and Bitter". We know that river water is "fresh", why did Allah add another attribute "sweet"? Where as Sea water Allah described it as "Salty" but why did He assign to it another attribute "Bitter"? At the same time Allah assigned Rain water just one attribute "Pure"? Yes, this is because the rainwater as we saw earlier is pure, distilled and has neither taste nor smell, thus a single attribute suffices it.





Figure 3: The sea water is the "bitter" water. In the language the verb "Ujaj" means exceeded the limit, and this is what we find in sea water which maintains saltiness that exceeds the normal limit. Therefore Allah has described sea water as (Salty/Bitter) because the word (salty) is not enough as a description, but the fresh water does contain some salts but we don’t sense there presence!!

The Miracle:

The Quran uses the term "Tahuran"/Pure in association with water descending from the sky because it is pure water, and this is what scientists call "Distilled" water and considers it as a cleaning substance. Where as the word "Sweet" Allah does not associate it with sky water at all, but with the water that we drink. River water is not completely pure and contains some salts and minerals giving it a palatable taste.

Further, if we ponder upon the Quranic description of Sea water we find the word "Ujaj"/Bitter which describes the excessive salt present in it. The Quran does not assign saltiness as an attribute on its own, it doesn’t say "This is salty" only, but on the contrary, it mentions "It is salty and bitter". From a scientific point of view if we say that the water contains salts then this is ludicrous because all water types contain salts with varying degrees, therefore it is a must to describe the degree of saltiness, and this precisely is what the Quran did.

The Quran is the first book that handles the disinfecting characteristic of rain water or distilled water and this attribute is not mentioned except in association with sky water. Whereas the human writing does not differentiate between the fresh water , the sweet water and the pure water while the Quran accurately made a distinction and positioned each term in its accurate place.

Glory is to Allah, every single word and letter in his Book fits flawlessly. The question we wish to forward to the skeptics in the field of scientific Quranic miracle is: If the Quran was a result of human formation, would it have been able to make the distinction between those words at that age?? Then we can denounce that the Quran spoke about those specifications before the physicists discovered it by long centuries. That is to say that the Quran is the first book that makes the distinction between the natures of the water and this is a material proof of the Divine origin of such a book.

My story with ‘the numeric miracles in the Book of Allah’



In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
The beginning of the journey
It all started 20 years ago when I read a small book entitled ‘On it, their is 19 ‘ (by Dr . Rached Khalifa) . The numbers and the coordinations that were built on 19 the book contained have startled me so much . Yet , after years and after I discovered they were almost all wrong , every thing has changed . Moreover, things got worse when I heard that Dr. Rached Khalifa claimed himself a prophet and able to predict the date of doomsday and was killed after words.
Then , I became not convinced at about the idea of numeric miracle, and what had strengthen my point of view what I heard from many great scholars; the latter completely denied this kind if miracles because they always came back to the example of Rashad Khalifa who went astray and died a heretic. But more than that, some of them were warning people not to study numbers in Koran for not fall in the same sin as Rashad Khalifa who came to the point to precise the date of the Day of Judgement claiming it will be on the year 1710 hijri ( the number is a multiple of 19) .

I kept on my denying this miracle till I started learning by heart the verses and chapters of the Book of Allah and repeat them then apprehend their significance , eloquence and perfect weaving. Then I was persuaded that the miracle of Koran is in its eloquence and language not in its numbers.

A meeting with an atheist
Allah wanted me to meet one of the atheists who have been influenced by the West and its materialistic ideologies, for which they became to consider everything by numbers and calculations. And after a lot of debates, I discovered that the way of the thinking of those atheists is to wrong any believer who tries to talk with them about religion, to convince him he is a stupid person and to prove the absence of any God to this universe which relies only on Nature its rules and eternity.

I tried to show him some Koranic verses which have influenced me the most with their eloquences and meaning after I learned them by heart. And I said to him: “can you find in humankind’s speeches such eloquence?”, and he immediately answered: “ yes! In Arabic old poetry which was more eloquent!!” o men! I beg the Lord for forgiveness, but this is their doctrine and this is their way of answering. Then, to close the door of debate about the language and eloquence of Koran, he added: “and in British literature, there is more eloquence and in the saying of Indian wise men and in the followers of Buddha’s sayings too, there is more clarity and eloquence.”

After many debates about the Koranic miracles, as the Koran’s prediction of the Roman’s victory after their defeat in 620 ad, or the mentioning of internal waves in the deep dark sea, or the mentioning of mountains inside the earth, and so many examples of historical, scientific and ruling miracles, I found him answering repeatedly: “ I’m not a man of seas, I’m not a man of mountains and I’m not a man of geology!!!”. Then, I did not find any way out except numeric miracles to argue him with after he closed all fields –though I was not convinced with this field of numeric miracles-. I gave him one single correct example I was sure of, that of the first verse of Koran: the ‘basmalah’ (in the name of Allah), where the number of letters is 19, and it was mentioned 114 times in the Koran, i.e. a multiple of 19.

Disturbed then ran away
I found him stand and think over and over then felt disturbed by unexpected surprise. He could not run away from this numeric strong language, but he did not find the words to say except: “this is a coincidence!”. Therefore, I gave him another example but more complicated; I said: “don’t you that there are in Koran chapters that begin with fragments of letters none of the interpreters or researchers could understand; two of these chapters start with the letter ‘qaf’ (/q/) : Shuraa and Qaf. Though the first one is much longer than the second, the number of the letter ‘qaf’ in both chapters is 57 and which is a multiple of 19 (57=19*3).

This is not enough; the total of letters for both chapters is 57+57 and which gives 114 exactly; this number represent the number of chapters in Koran, and the letter ‘qaf’, in Arabic, is at the beginning of the word Qur’an. Moreover, the first chapter ( Shuraa) begins with talking about revelation: (1-3)

And the second one (Qaf) starts with talking about the Koran: (1)

This is a sign that the starting with the letter ‘qaf’ for both chapters is a symbol of Koran, even its mentioning in both chapters is equal to the number of chapters of the Koran, i.e. 114. this wonderful harmonization disturbed our friend who turned on the paper on which I wrote these numbers; he tried to wrong these results and calculations, yet he could not do so because it is all correct. After a long appraisal of these results, he said critically: “this is another twist of fate!”, then added: “if all the Koran is built on such perfect numeric system, only at that time I will be convinced!”

The beginning of a new journey
I restarted my searching in the books of numeric miracle to look for more numeric realities, yet I found nothing but preludes to some agreements based on number 19 and other prime numbers. These agreements and arrangements were not enough to convince this atheist or other people like him about the perfect numeric system the letters, the verse and the chapters of Koran constitute.

The conditions through which I met this atheist are gone, but the word he said: ‘if all the Koran is built on such perfect numeric system, only at that time I will be convinced!’ made me start a new journey in the world of Koran, and change my way of thinking; I said: “ as long as Allah is the One who has settled down Koran, then it is impossible not to find perfect coordination and agreements in everything not only in some verses and chapters, and as long as it is He who has put this perfect system in His book, then their must be a great aim behind it because Allah does not put something in His book aimlessly.

Then I remembered Allah’s saying : “(82)

And recognised what this verse calls us to do: to think over about the arrangements and coordinations found in Allah’s word, to deprive it from any disorder, differentiations or contrast human beings’ words contain. It leads us , too, to apprehend the perfection and order the system Koran contains, for we can be so sure about its divinity, and not because I felt doubt about the book of Allah at all, but to have more knowledge, certainty and greatening of His book, the book that will intercede for me on the day of judgement when I will all alone. Yet, my researches and works are for the sake of Allah, Him The Oft-Forgiver.

A sincere prayer

I prayed Allah, the Accepter of All prayers, He would choose me out of His billion servants to have more knowledge about His miracle, I prayed Allah that my work would bring benefit and profit . I started to beg Him for His protection from any bad or useless knowledge as our prophet (p.b.u.h) taught us to do and say. Then years have passed, passed full of work and continuous searching within good conditions Allah has bestowed me with, and which were there for me to help me spend the day and night counting the letters and words of Koran, and try to look for the numeric construction of these verses.

The only thing that pushed me to withstand, though so hard was the searching, is being sure to gain a great reward whatever the result would be. If the numeric miracle does really exist, then, I thought, Allah (swt) has chosen me to unveil this new miracle Koran contains, and which may have a string influence to guide some atheist to the right path of their Lord, to His religion and His book. And if such miracle does not exist, then Allah has chosen me to warn people from such science and its illusions and that these numbers are useless.

In both cases, the reward of Allah is there, inchaâllah. Then as long as the heart is sane and full of sincerity and faith, Allah will undoubtedly guides me to the right path because it is He who says: “and if anyone believes in Allah (Allah) guides his heart (aright): for Allah knows all things” (Taghabun, 11) and He says: “And if anyone puts his trust in Allah sufficient is (Allah) for him” (Talaq, 3).

Some intentional and unintentional errors
When I was reading what has been written about numeric miracles, I always had some surprises about intentional and unintentional errors, and what made it impossible for me to be convinced was that some writers did not follow a stable plan, but you find them change his way of calculation just to get a previous result they had on their minds. They seemed to take all ways only to show right their calculations. Others even included numbers from outside the Koran. Others considered any result they got as a great miracle and always forgot that coincidence plays a role in such calculations.

The many errors, either in calculations or in the way of searching, I found in some books, pushed me to look for the truth and follow numeric realities of the Koran only to reach the truth. I thought that if the miracle is there than no need to use complicated ways to discover it. Thus, Allah has described His book as being clear and patent : “(2)By the Book that makes things clear” ( Azukhruf).

I also thought that the miracle should be found in every single Koranic element (its letters, its verses and its chapters), and it must be a concrete proof of the divine protection of this book, the Koran, from any deviation, adding, or lessening for which if a single letter is missing or moved, the whole numeric system will be no more reliable. Accordingly, this system, if it exists, will be a testimony and evidence that this book was sent down by Allah, Hallowed be Him.

Then if we change the order of a single letter, the numeric construction of Koran will be affected; therefore, the miracle should respect the ordering of the words and the verses beside the counting of letters and their totals and orderings in each word of the Koran.

Under this perception, I needed to study letters from Koran differently and with new methods. This is why I went back to Modern Maths’ most complicated numeric system: algebraic series, and I came to know that these mathematic series are used in all modern sciences, from nuclear sciences up to astronomy, even computers are based on doubled numeric series.

A wonderful result
I began, afterwards, to write the Koranic verses as they are written in Koran and count the letters of each word or count the letters of the name of God ‘Allah’, The Highest, in each word then read the resulting number in the way of ‘ranged numbers’. The result was surprising and wonderful because all the resulting numbers were multiples of seven. After that, I spent two years studying this system that is based on 7 and I attained thousands of numeric realities. This is why I was convinced that the letters of Koran are perfectly organised according to a miraculous system based on 7. Nonetheless, atheists always try to find tortuous ways and false proves to deny the clear, absolute truth, i.e. to prove that Koran’s numeric miracles are out of coincidence.

This is why I concentrated the research on special verses and even on special fragments or parts of these verses, only to put aside any pretension around the interference of chance. But there was a question I have asked: “ how can I choose the verses I have to study among thousands of verses? I know they would accuse me to choose verses that fit my calculations and deny the miracle?!!”. Yet, Allah the Merciful helped me find my way out, and I knew that Allah will refute their proves because it is He who said: “(141)Already has He sent you word in the Book that when ye hear the signs of Allah held in defiance and ridicule ye are not to sit with them unless they turn to a different theme: if ye did ye would be like them. For Allah will collect the hypocrites and those who defy faith all in hell” (The Women).

Who is more Truthful than Allah?
They do not accept this Koran, and they say it is the production of Mohamed (p.b.u.h)! However, Allah makes sure in one of the Koranic verses how truthful are His sayings: “and whose word can be truer than Allah's?” ( The Women, 122) so tell me is there anyone who is more truthful than Allah?? Yet how can we persuade those people about the truthfulness and divinity of these words? How can we bring strong proves and testimonies to stop them from denying this eternal miracle?

I found, therefore, that the numeric language is the strongest and the perfect way to deal with the matter because it is the clearest language none can deny. Then, I became convinced at 100% about the existence of a numeric miracle in the Koran mainly after I got thousands of correct, certain results that fit all Koran without exception (in all its letters, verses, and chapters). However, in front of these many words that represent Allah’s words’ truthfulness and veracity, how can we get the miracle out of hem, for it can be a direct and strong proof to those who deny the divinity of this book?

I said: “as long as Allah has created every single nucleus in this world made of 7 layers, has created 7 heavens and 7 earths, has made for the week 7 days, has bestowed His dearest prophet (p.b.u.h) 7 oft-repeated ( The Opening of the Book), has ordered us to turn around the Ka’bah 7 times, and to walk between Safah and Marwa 7 times, to prostrate on 7 bones and to avoid the 7 greatest sins, has made for hell-fire 7 doors and so many things that are based on number 7, then isn’t it out of wisdom to organize His book’s letters according to this number?

The letters of the chosen part
I started to write the letters of the chosen part (verse) and under each word, I put a number, which represent the number of the letters of this word. The result was wonderful: the resulting number is a multiple of 7! Let us see and think about what has been written in the book of Allah:

‘and who is more truthful than Allah’

و من أصدقُ من الله قيلاً

1 2 4 2 4 4

The number 442421 can be divided on 7, i.e. it is a multiple of 7: 442421= 7*63203; even the latter (63203) is a multiple of 7: 63203= 7*9029. Thus we can that the number which represents the letters of the verse above is a multiple of 7 for two times. The believer is certain that this is not out of coincidence as there is no place for that in the Word of Allah, but it is about a perfect divine production. On the other hand, atheists think that this coordination is only by coincidence. This is why I said: “ the miracle of this verse has not begun yet!”

The letters of the name of God ‘Allah’
Now, I wonder how to get more arrangements based on 7 with which I can prove the divinity of the word of Allah, the Koran? This is how I spent many months searching and studying, but I said: “why don’t I try to search in the word ‘Allah’? it is God who said these words, then it is logic that He , the Wisest, would have organized His great name ‘Allah’ in a miraculous way to be a sign to the divinity of this Book. I thought, if I could link between the letters of His name ‘ Allah’ and the verse above to find a relationship between them; that will be the strongest testimony with which I can prove that Koran is Allah’s book where He, the Lonely God, has put His miracle.

Allah has chosen for His name ‘Allah’ the letters (alif, lam, haâ) (a,l,h). Therefore, the secret is there in these chosen letters. This is how I had the idea to count these letters in Koran. I thought, what would happen if I count these letters in Koran?

That was a simple, yet a marvellous, operation. I was surprised to do that but I had such wonderful results: the number of these letters (alif, lam, haâ) in the previous verse is 7!!! ( alif=3, lam=3, haâ=1).

I said: “Praised band Glorified be Allah, in this verse the number of letters which constitute His name is 7! But is it all??” of course not! There is much more arrangements. Yet, will there be arrangements based on 7? I.e. is there any relationship that links between 133 ( which represent the word ‘Allah’ and the repetition of its letters).

This is what I really found! When I ordered these numbers according to the letters of ‘Allah’, this was the result:

H L A

The number is 133= 7*19!!!

Now, we have four harmonisations with 7 in the same verse:

- the number which represents the letters of the verse is a multiple of 7

- the result of the division of this number on 7 is a multiple of 7

- the number of the letters of ‘Allah’ in this verse is a multiple of 7

- the mentioning of these letters in the verse is a multiple of 7

Nonetheless, although these arrangements cannot be by accident, the atheist is always doubtful about any miracle if it will be strengthened by a strong proof. This is why the precedent operation were not enough because I thought that any atheist would say that he is able to write a text where letters are organised in such way.

The greatest numeric results
This issue has given me a new start in my journey of researches. It lasted many months during which I was always praying the Lord to bestow me with sincerity and guidance to His path to discover this miracle. I said: “ if the letters in the name of God ‘ Allah’ and the number of their repetitions is a multiple of 7, so what will I find if ever distributing these numbers on each word of the previous verse?” and verily, I have never predicted to come to such great result, the greatest one all along my journey of searching.

I wrote the words of the verse and under each word, I put the number which refers to how many alif, lam, and haâ the word contains:

‘and who is more truthful than Allah’

و من أصدق من الله قيلاً

0 0 1 0 4 2

The result is 240100 and it is a multiple of 7 four times:

240100 = 7 * 7 * 7 * 7 * 100

Hallowed be Allah, the One who has perfectly chosen these numbers and these words. You The Most Truthful Most powerful ask Your poor servants to believe You: ‘and who is more truthful than Allah’ and You also put these proves and miracles which they cannot bring things alike, yet they deny and reject this Koran? And You The Merciful, The Gracious, despite their heresy, give them food , money and children and have mercy upon them and forgive them when they repent!!!

Glorified be Allah! A verse which talks about Lord, contains a mentioning of His name’s letters which equals to 7, and their repetition gives a number that is a multiple of 7 and their distribution is a multiple of 7 for 4 times and the whole, final result is about 100!!!! Isn’t it a great result to prove that Koran is Allah’s book,!!

The position of the word ‘Allah’

This is a miracle that needs to be thought over and over; yet it is not all the story! There are more miraculous arrangements based on 7. I read and reread this great word ‘Allah’ and said: “ if Allah had perfectly organized the letters of His name in this verse, has He ordered the position of His great name as well?

Consequently, I tried to count letters before and after ‘Allah’ in this verse. The result was puzzling: the number is 7!! Let us write (in Arabic) the letters:

وَمَنْ أَصْدَقُ مِنَ (اللَّهِ) قِيلاً

9 4

You see! There are 9 before and 4 after, which gives, once arranged, number 49=7*7!

This is not at all out of coincidence because even the number of words before and after ‘Allah’ is a multiple of 7: 14=7*2

وَمَنْ أَصْدَقُ مِنَ (اللَّهِ) قِيلاً

4 1

And to burn all doubts, if we count the letters ‘alif’, ‘lam’ and ‘haâ’ before and after:

وَمَنْ أَصْدَقُ مِنَ (اللَّهِ) قِيلاً

1 2

2 and 1 once arranged, give 21=7*3!

And the question is: you, atheists, can you bring such eloquent literary text where you talk about yourselves like Allah did in this verse, and organise its words and letters in a way to be coordinated with the number 7 and with the letters of your names many times?

So if you do not believe that Koran is the word of Allah, read with me this divine words: (34)Let them then produce a recital like unto it if (it be) they speak the Truth! (Attur), tell me now: why do your hearts refuse to submit in humiliation to the greatness of the words of Allah and to His miracle?
